Pastor Dawn D. Roucka’s 30-year professional experience spans topics many will not talk about in polite company – politics and religion. She served at the US Senate, is an ordained ELCA pastor and has traveled widely as an advocate and speaker. Dawn’s mission and call is to help faith communities and their leadership be vital, fluid and flexible in the Spirit to stay true to their mission.

Besides prayer, nature and worship, Pastor Roucka finds connection with the Spirit through all things creative – improv, painting, costume making, dancing. It is through dancing, Dawn re-engaged the notion that partnering with the Holy Spirit is like dance. As  partner, one must trust on the Spirit, lean into the movement and be swept along in a beautiful movement of the body.

Through Spirit Partnerships Pastor Roucka revitalizes leadership, helps transform faith communities to become agents of change and find flexibility for growth through educational programming, training, and re-engagement in the whole community.

Reverend Roucka believes it is a Gospel mandate to make the world a better place one dance,
one person or community at a time.
